Kids' cuts, without the meltdown.
Fades, crops and scissor cuts for under-12s, done by barbers who don't mind a wriggle. There's a booster seat, the parent stays right by the chair, and nobody's rushing.
Sample price for a fictional shop.

What's in it
- A booster seat and a cape that fits
- Any cut the grown-ups get: fades, crops, side parts
- A parent right by the chair the whole time
- A lolly on the way out, if the parent says yes
How it goes
Up on the booster
A minute to settle in and see the clippers before they go anywhere near.
The cut
Quiet clippers first, scissors for the bits near the ears.
The mirror
They see the back, you check it, and off you go.
Ask for Kasia
Any of the three will do it, but most kids ask for Kasia.
Asked at the counter
- Do you do first haircuts?
- Yes, and we'll keep a lock for you in an envelope if you'd like one. Weekday mornings are the calmest time to bring them.
- When is the shop quietest?
- Monday to Wednesday before 11. Saturday mornings and after school on a Friday are the busiest.
- What if they won't sit still?
- We've seen it all. We'll go at their pace, and if it's not happening today you don't pay for half a haircut.
Book it, or ask us first.
