A proper gents' cut, mostly with scissors.
Short back and sides, side parts, textured crops, and longer hair that needs scissor work rather than a grade number. Cut to how your hair actually falls, so it still looks right on day ten.
Sample price for a fictional shop.

What's in it
- Scissor-over-comb at the sides, where clippers would leave a step
- The neck tapered or squared off, whichever you prefer
- Hot lather and a cut-throat round the neckline
- Styled, and told which product we used and how much

Styled and shown
Neckline shaved clean, product in, and the back in the mirror.
Ask for Tommo
Tommo is the scissor man. He's in every day except Wednesday and Sunday.
Asked at the counter
- Do you cut longer hair?
- Yes, up to about shoulder length. For anything past that, book a double slot so nobody's rushing.
- I don't know what my cut is called.
- Most people don't. Bring a photo, or tell us what's annoying you about it now, and we'll work it out together.
- Is it cheaper with clippers only?
- A straight grade all over is £15 and takes fifteen minutes. Anything with scissors is this price.
