Cold side: water, leaks and bathrooms

Water where it shouldn't be? Turn it off, then call.

Your stopcock is usually under the kitchen sink. Turn it clockwise, then ring us. For leaks and bursts we come the same day across Norwich, seven days a week from 7am to 10pm.

Questions people ask

Where's my stopcock?

Most often under the kitchen sink, sometimes in a downstairs toilet or under the stairs. Clockwise to close. Can't find it? Ring us and we'll help.

Do you come out at night?

We take emergency calls from 7am to 10pm, seven days. A leak in the small hours: turn the water off and we'll be first through the door in the morning.

Will my insurance cover it?

Often the damage is, though not always the repair. We'll write up what we found and what we did, which is what insurers ask for.

Tell Dan what you need and add a photo or two. These help most:

  • Where the water is coming from
  • The ceiling or floor it's reached
  • Your stopcock, if you can't turn it
